Episode 17: Being Able To Answer Why

A question parents get all to often!

Why, Why, Why, Why.

At a young age, we try to understand the world and are looking for meaning in what we are doing. Turns out, things don’t change as we get older. When we are able to answer why, it gives our actions purpose and gives us a vision. It defines the path we are on and gives us ownership within the process. It all seems to make sense, but check out this episode to see the curves balls that are thrown! Keep grinding.

Episode 16: Having Someone With Whom To Share It

We all fear loneliness in our lives, no matter who we are. We need to surround ourselves with people that care about us and that with who we can share our successes, our failures, dreams, aspirations, and fears with. When we find these people we tend to step out of our comfort zones and take risks. This can help us to advance and reach heights we never dreamed imaginable.

Take time to evaluate who you spend your time with. Are they the people that will get you to where you want to be? Are you that person for someone else?

Episode 15: Leaving A Legacy

What makes a meaningful life? I couldn’t agree more with this answer. What exactly does a legacy mean? Why is it so crucial? We look at the ins and outs of how to make an impact and make it stick, along with a few curve balls. We really enjoyed this conversation and hope you do as well!

Episode 14: Finding The Positivity In Things

Seems pretty simple…we hear it all the time. Life is so easy when we are able to take the positives out of every situation. Why does that feel so hard to do?

We have the run down for you.

Thanks for all the support throughout these last few months! Loving every minute of the conversations, discussions, feedback, and questions. You folks are awesome.

Episode 13: What Makes A Meaningful Life?

Season 2 is underway.

We are excited to dive into more deep conversations, and this one did not disappoint! We get so busy in our day to day, we forget what it is that truly makes our lives meaningful. So what are you waiting for? We challenge you to spend time with the ones you love, experience new things, and live one day at a time.

Episode 12: Sean Covel on Pursuing Dreams, Conquering Fear, and Continuous Growth

It was our honor to welcome Sean Covel to The Little Things. Sean’s work includes the movie Napoleon Dynamite, the movie 12 Dogs of Christmas, and the book “Porter the Hoarder”. It was great to get his take on some of the most in-depth questions from our first eleven episodes. His credentials are very impressive, but what impressed us most was his insight into some very deep topics and his sincerity. Check it out and let us know what you think at thelittlethings.mitchandjake@gmail.com.

Episode 11: Ask Me Anything

We are fortunate with the following we have and the great questions that were brought to light. Many of them made us stop and think about our podcast, where we are in our lives, and where we are going. The question variety we had come in was fantastic and included traveling, family time, childhood memories, and our beliefs. Please continue to shoot us your thoughts and questions at thelittlethings.mitchandjake@gmail.com, and we will go over them on Chapter Two’s AMA.

Thanks again for the continued support!

Episode 10: Chapter 1 Recap – Rapid Fire

Not often do we get to go back and look at the initial answers of “Cardboard Confessionals”. We go over numerous confessions during this episode, both light and heavy. This just goes to show you the wide variety of experiences, dreams, and aspirations that our students have. Join us for a light recap of Chapter 1. Our next episode will be composed of a question and answer session. Please shoot us any questions you have at thelittlethings.mitchandjake@gmail.com

Thanks for your support!

Episode 9: Not Live In Constant Fear To Fail

Failure is something that can completely take us over and change how we respond to certain situations, but do we put failure on a pedestal and make it more than it really is? Join us as we look at our mindset throughout the process and how we can turn failure into an opportunity to grow. Enjoy!

Episode 8: Write A Song For Someone I Love

We show love in many ways. Although this would not be a way we show our love, simply because we are not musical, it is an awesome confession. Regardless of the way you show your love to people, the important thing is that you are showing it. Let the people around you know how important they truly are. Enjoy!
